RSBreth Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 The eyes are either from the Momo or the Gowrow, I'm sure it's not the Ozark Howler. Or flashback from the Acid and 'Shrooms.
Al Agnew Posted July 12, 2013 Posted July 12, 2013 The spiders' eyes glow when a light hits them, like the eyes of deer in the headlights or cats at night when a light catches them. It's a night time adaption, helps their eyes gather more light. Unless strong moonlight catches their eyes right, you won't see them "glowing" until you put a light on them. Glow worms glow until the light hits them. At least if you're using a good flashlight. The light from the flashlight is stronger than the glow worm light. I've tracked them down with a flashlight at night but it isn't easy. They are a small (about a half inch) dark, wingless beetle, and they're hard to see. Their lights are bioluminescence, like fireflies. As Gavin said, they look like sowbugs somewhat, but they are a different family of insects.
Kayser Posted July 13, 2013 Posted July 13, 2013 He said WY conditions. Maybe frogs? WARNING!! Comments to be interpreted at own risk. Time spent fishing is never wasted.
