It rained buckets last night. The river is in the trees, but not in the hay. It's a nice chocolate color. I suppose for reference it's at the road at the center gravel ramp, the one that sets a little lower.

Yea I took State Police miles back in the woods back then,them poor Guys couldn't keep up with me back then.

Ahh, Alis Ben Johns.... Yep that was pretty intense. I was actually more afraid of the lawmen than I was of an encounter with Ben during that "manhunt". He had all them boys WAY too nervous.

My mom assisted with the psych-eval on him at Biggs afterwards, interesting fella.

Yea we lived back where you really needed 4WD to get in.Me and my wife was in front of the House,here comes bunch of Cars,I look told my wife they were State Cars.They all jump out with all kinds of Hardware,my wife says What did you do now? Nothing I know of.They get out Are you so and so? Yes,then I'm wondering where I was sleeping.Will you take us to this area? We are looking for Johns.Yes I can.

I take them down in the hills and hollers.By the time we got back they were having a hard time of it.

They left my wife says I didn't know if you was going to run or what.I told her no sense in running I hadn't done anything.
