Steve Douglas is a friend of mine and anyone that needs good beefed up rod holders his Monster rod holders are sweet. He also has some great vids on cat fishing, which I love and I thought I would post one of his vids on rigs. This is the is most asked question to me by friends who want a piece of the trophy Blue and Flathead cat fishing we have here in the St.Louis area.....what rigs do you use???? well here they are

I use these two but don't use a 3 way swivel. I use 2 two ways (2 different sizes) and overlap each other because it's cheaper and holds up just as much. I think next weekend we are doing a Rod N Reel Flathead get together if you are interested Smalliebigs. Basically you will get Fri evening - Sunday morning to catch the biggest winner will take all the $$$. Usually we get around 20+ people at $20 a person (Not a boat) most of us will camp on an island or go back home if you wish. Anywhere between Clarksville to Alton dams.

Hey I might be into that....can you message me when for sure.....I normally fish from my Seaark but, I will fish from the bank.....I have the rods for that too....just need to go net up some skip jacks. anytime you want to go from Columbia bottoms let me know....I nail some sweet blues from there and hybrids and whites.

What's this I hear about barge captains terrorizing the fishermen around there? Someone was actually run over intentionally or something, and others being "shoved towards the bank"?

I'm hearing some pretty crazy tales from a pair of customers that fish the MO/Miss.
