merc1997 Bo Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 i do not know about your daytime fishing but night fishing is pretty darn good. the last three trips has produced12 to 15 keepers each trip and a couple over 7. all are coming on a 1/2oz NuJig in a bluegill color. most blacks are 10 to 20. some kentuckies will bite a bit deeper. bo

Champ188 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Dang Bill, a 7lber in August during the day, that's pretty darned awesome. Are you sure that wasn't a big ol' slick that wandered down from Roaring River?
Sprint21fter Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Fished the Joe Bass this past Saturday, and took 5th place with three chances to upgrade throughout the day and never stuck a hook in them. We had 13.55 and all were carbon copies nothing over 3lbs all solid keepers. 18lbs won it. Matt Jones and his partner now have made it three in a row. We caught 10 keepers and several shorts throughout the day. Fishing a jig in 15-25 ft. Fished from KC to Cow Creek.
Champ188 Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Matt is a good hand. Hard to beat when he gets on them.
