kjackson Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I can. I like it and use it for a variety of different things.
Old plug Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I use it for crappie fishing. Be careful with it though it can cut your fingers to the bone by grabbing it and trying to pull a lure off of a snag
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I can recommend TUF XP. 4/15 best line around. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Ham Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I use Power Pro braid, but I have started using Nanofil and it does several things better than the Power Pro. 1) No noise in the guides. 2)Enough body that I'm not getting the constant wrapping around the rod tip 3) Throws as well or better than mono. I've caught several hundred fish using it and I'm more than impressed. I'm using 8 lb test which is about 5 X diameter with a 6 lb leader tied on with an alberto knot (but uni to uni would work just fine). I have some of the 6 lb test ordered, I think it has about 2 lb line diameter. Crappie beware. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
mic Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 I've used the Power Pro, but I was looking for something that would not line fish in clear water.
Ham Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I have fished the WHITE colored Nanofl in water as clear as can be and the smallmouth did not seem to mind. I've caught over 100 trout in the White river on the Nanofil and they didn't care either. I have definitely mined fish with a fly line before, but I've never noticed ,lining them with a thin diameter braid. I've used the Power Pro, but I was looking for something that would not line fish in clear water. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
mic Posted August 28, 2013 Author Posted August 28, 2013 I didn't know it came in white. Thought it only came in green and yellow. I'll have to check that out thanks.
Chief Grey Bear Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I use nothing but Crystal Fireline on my spinning rod. Have never had any trouble what so ever with it. It is caught ton of trout both at parks and places such as Crane that I won't name. I have tried Prower Pro on two different occasions and will never use that crap again!
