Wow! I've heard stories about folks well off enough to have a second home on a lake yet they were inherently miserable and had no sense of humor.....But I just thought that was a myth.

That's just sad. How does it happen?

Agreed but the endless rant is kind of annoying, or the post of someone telling you what they have, but they don't want to sell it, that kind of bs.

Oh hell, enjoy the stories. They've been pretty good. Have you actually bought anything from any of the people that have offered to sell?

Not at all why I asked. I just wondered if you were able to actually make a deal on something. I don't know of many people that have fish mounts anymore and see more and more taxidermy places that are closed.

I don't spend much time in a glittery bass boat these days so I don't know about the slap and tickle. But I do notice a person that is all worked up over nothing when I see one and it disgusts me. It would be a pretty boring place if we had to stay on point all the time. It's a place to come and discuss so that's what everyone does. And if you listen/read real close you might learn something. Well those of us that don't already know everything do.

Maybe that is why the south lost the war, it took too long getting to point. But one thing you missed, I'm looking for vintage taxidermy, I guess I could go kill some fish but I tend to release.

Just go to the thrift stores and flea markets. I can't think How much old taxidermy I've seen in those in Clinton and Warsaw.

However I don't want anything mounted that I wasn't responsible for, the point of it is the memories.
