abkeenan Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Just wanted to pass this along...and NO I DO NOT HAVE ANY AFFILIATION WITH THIS WEBSITE. Just passing on some fantastic deals. Just about everything is 30% off including Daiwa Steez Rods and Reels, Zillions, Dobyn's rods, G*Loomis, Abu Garcia Revo's, Shimano Rods including Crucials and reels like the Curado G's, Stradics, etc and all Lew's models reels also. Some really good savings here fellas. Seriously just about everything on the entire site including plastics and hard baits are 30% off. Best sale I have seen in a while and even better than Tackle Warehouse when they have their 20% off Black Friday sale. I apologize to anyone in which this post causes spousal feuding as a result of more tackle being bought. http://www.basstackledepot.com
Quillback Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Thanks for the heads up. I may have to do a little browsing.
mixermarkb Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 You guys are gonna get me in the doghouse...
abkeenan Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Ya I had to pick up 1 more Speed Spool at those prices. Also got a Bends Mender I've been meaning to get a few years for 3.00 bucks for fizzing fish as they aren't a commonly sold item at tackle shops/BPS.
mixermarkb Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I should go look at one of those fizzers. I finally pulled the trigger on a bunch of Sunline shooter and sniper. Been hearing great things, with the sale the price is worth it to me now. I'll see how I like it vs. the trilene 100 percent I've been using.
Quillback Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 That Sunline is supposed to be the primo stuff, you'll have to let us know what you think.
mixermarkb Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I ordered a couple of spools of sniper in 7lb test for drop shot and grubs, and a couple spools of shooter in their multicolored camo version. I like the trilene 100% in green tint a lot, but it is thick for its pound test. I was throwing 6 pound on my grubs this spring on Bull Shoals, and my father in law was getting more bites on the 4lb test that my spare rig had loaded on it for crappie. He wasn't getting the trigger pulled, but he was getting bites 3 to my 1. I loaded some 4 pound on, and it made a big difference. The 7 pound sunline is about the same diameter as 4 pound trilene fluro, so I have pretty high hopes for it as far as finesse spinning line goes. We will see
abkeenan Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks for the heads up. Ha. Its over now.
