Greasy B Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Thanks everyone. I am happy to get a few bass in that class every year, but I sure wish they were a little more common. Carbondale is a great little town. Great music scene, lots of parks and recreation areas nearby, and the town is surrounded by great fishing lakes. Crab orchard refuge, kinkaid, carlyle, rend, LOE, Mississippi river, carlyle lake, pyramid state park are all within an hour of Cdale. Also plenty of opportunities to camp and hike in the shawnee national forest. Check it out if you are ever in the area. I couldn't agree more. I first fished southern Illinois because of a long period of stream flooding in Missouri. I absolutely fell in love with its waters, landscapes and hospitality. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw.
