LostMyWife Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Rob and I hit Taney this afternoon without gear. We got into town too late. Traffic around Silver Dollar City was ridiculous. Anyway, the water looked clear, but it looked very low. A few guys were catching fish, but they were small. We walked around, watched, and took pictures. We are hitting the water early in the morning. Any fishing reports out there. Yes, I'm That Guy

We're full tonight though. Can do a discount at this point - 25% off one night, 50% off 2 or more nights. Drop me an email.
RSBreth Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 I'll have to show up at 8:00 to put some names with faces and say hello. I'll probably fish early in the dark for browns with spinning gear, maybe I'll bring the 4 weight and fish for dinks on dries for a while after saying hi. Probably bring a 12 pack of... something. Will probably take pictures of people like mugshots, too. I take pictures of everything. Wife thinks I am a reincarnated steroetypical Japanese tourist. Maybe post pictures of the shindig on here afterword. We might be the "crowd of fishermen at Taney on New Years Day" non-board members talk about for years afterword.
Rusty Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Is there a need for a portable cook stove? If so, I can bring one.

I agree, when we get the parking lot full and others see all the activity, we may end up being the only ones there.... Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"
