Quillback Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 A Red Sox fan. I've been pulling for the Cards all year to make the series, but I'm a life long fan of the Sox dating back to the early late 60's when my family moved to Mass. from the Midwest. So let's hope for a Series for the ages, with the Sox pulling it out in a dramatic game 7.

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 20, 2013 Root Admin Posted October 20, 2013 This should be a great series if both teams show up and play. No streaks of no hitting... pitching should be stellar. I was looking and haven't seen yet- who's favored to win? The only thing I see is Boston has the home advantage.

Good luck to your team...I always liked the red sox except for the 2004 beat down they put down on the cards. Should be a great series with two best teams from each league...as it should be.
Quillback Posted October 22, 2013 Author Posted October 22, 2013 I am looking forward to it, it's always fun to watch games played in Fenway. No lead is safe.
cnr Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 The Sox gave us a beat-down in '04. Now it's our turn to win. GO CARDS!!
David Unnerstall Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I bear no ill will toward the Red Sox. It is nice to see the two best teams (the best records in each league) playing in the World Series. Home field advantage in baseball is now the most important factor. But if Wacha can keep this up he can neutralize home field advantage. But it is unrealistic to expect him to keep this up. If we can split in Boston, come home and win two out of three and split in Boston.....
snap Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 .....I must confess, those are the ugliest beards on athletes(sox) I have ever seen!!!!
