moguy1973 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Yikes...Cardinals forgot their jocks in St Louis and had to resort to their panties last night I guess... -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
stlfisher Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 That was brutal...almost predictable. Kozma has made too many errors in big games dating back to last year...not sure there is a better alternative though. It doesn't help he is terrible at the plate.
snap Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 little league like!!!.......oh wait, little league pitchers catch little pop flys.......
Quillback Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 The Sox need to send the Cards a thank-you note because they got a gift. I heard that Bucholz is feeling some kind of pain and has been moved back. The next 2 nights the Cards get to face Lackey and Peavey, both of these guys make me nervous. Lackey has a good regular season ERA, but it's tough to get more than 6 innings out of him. Which means the Sox middle relievers will come in and they are a shaky bunch. Peavey got hammered in his last start. I wouldn't call tonight's game a must win for the Sox, but it's one they really need, as I think the Peavey start will be a game the Cards should win.
snap Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 quill.....that puts peavy vs lynn......you never know what you will get with lynn either!!! He is a guy, IMO, that looks great but than has a killer inning out of nowhere!!!...or it could be Kelly......kinda scary there now also!!!
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 24, 2013 Root Admin Posted October 24, 2013 Like they've been saying... it's pretty even. Evenly scarey! I guess I'm going to the game Saturday. My son-in-law's uncle got tickets.

I don't have much confidence in Lynn either...One inning always does him in. I think Miller can give you what Lynn does...and Miller is part of your future. Let the lad get some experience.
Guest Brian B. Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Cards looking better tonight- Kozma redeemed himself in the 7th inning. Go Cards!
moguy1973 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Home field advantage has just gone in favor of the Cardinals... Kelly in game 3 Lynn in game 4 Wainwright to close it out in game 5 at home for 12 in '13! -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
stlfisher Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Wacha made one mistake tonight, but that was a gutsy performance. shakey defense has cost both teams. Should be rocking in stl on saturday. Love the double steal...
