Fixing to place an order on 10 dozen zig jigs guys, i'm getting ready!! I use the 1/16 oz one on a fly rod below a thingamabobber when I want to tackle a winter smallie on my 4 wt! So I use them for more than just trout! Hope we can get this fishing thing together!!

This is definitely NOT my favorite time of the year on the river. Water is so trashy. I took the wife for a QUICK tip yesterday afternoon, I felt like I was really struggling, but I did get 28 to hand in about 2 hours of fishing. She was "cold" the whole time on the water so I brought her home.

I was thrilled witht he temps. I actually felt a little warmer than I wanted to be a time or two. Maybe I dressed better for a November trip on the White River than she did or maybe I just want it more.

You sound like me, I love fishing in cold weather. Of course when it's really cold, I wear my duck hunting clothes..lol One thing I like about the cold, you usually have most of the river to yourself!!

I love fishing. Hot or cold. Sunny or rainy. Windy or calm. I have decided to no longer fish when the predicted high is in teens or >110'. I also will not fish when the wind is gonna blow > 40 mph. I'll bitch and moan about bad weather from home on those days.
