Interesting Twist On A Pheasant Tail Nymph

I found this today and thought it was an interesting twist on the standard PT. Unfortantly, he didn't give any detail on where or how he fishes it.

Good looking PT. I would imagine it would do better in fast water given the number of beads. Fast water isn't something we experience here so an alteration of using glass beads might work better here..

Wayne, that is what I was thinking. I was also trying to figure out how to let the beads (or bead) show through the top to look like an air chamber.

Would be good on NFoW, no such thing as too heavy here. I'd just fish it in the fast water under a bobber.

I lose too many flies however, that would be expensive losing all those tungsten beads. I wrap about all my nymphs hooks with lead before I tie them.
