Quillback
Baylor and OSU are pretty close in the BCS rankings, if, and it's a fairly good sized if, Baylor beats Okie State and assuming OSU wins, I would think Baylor would jump ahead of OSU. hank franklin
Ohio State will likely be undefeated and may well play for the National Championship. Yet their only win of any substance was Wisconsin. At home. By a touchdown. FSU has played quality teams and thrashed them. Hopefully they win out. Bama is the best team in the land. But Auburn at home could upset them. Or they could be upset in the SEC championship game. We could very easily see a scenario in which the SEC champion has one loss or more and is standing outside, watching FSU play a fraud OSU in a sham national championship. Such a game would have no legitimacy whatsoever. I doubt that Mizzou would win out but imagine if they did. How could anyone possibly argue that an unbeaten OSU was better than a one-loss Mizzou team that won the SEC championship? Yet no doubt OSU would be the invitee in such a scenario. I watch the games but really cannot take college football seriously. It is an utterly fraudulent system.
chambug
Whoever wins the national championship will have to beat Baylor. and if stats are the determining factor....The bears are in.

Says who? The fact you're SEC prejudiced doesn't mean that extends to Big 10 fans. The one teams that seem to be on a no game path is Baylor. If they beat OSU the "experts" are saying Fresno State would be their foe and that will give Baylor nothing to gain, unfortunately. This si the same reason the BCS was formed and what has killed it. If they had controlled the top 6 ranked teams it would have worked. That is why I set against letting the minor league in. They get credit for doing well in recognized weaker leagues! The reason they have to come close to even get consideration is the reason for them to not be there! Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman. ozark trout fisher
Unless it's somehow Missouri, give me 'bama vs. Baylor for a truly fascinating title game. I'm not saying that's the most fair matchup, but it may be the most fun.

hank franklin
I'm not SEC-biased, I'm football biased. Baylor was a pretender and I'm glad they're out. Bama and FSU are clearly 1-2. The computers don't like OSU near as much as the voters, wonder why? Bama vs. FSU would be a heavyweight prize fight. OSU in the title game would be like Notre Dame last year. Answer me this: If Mizzou wins out and FSU and OSU also win out, who should play for the nat'l championship?
Feathers and Fins
OSU, by record from last several years should be given the shot. Record speaks louder than anything and im no fan of these run up scores. Bama gets in if undefeated by being the defending NC. OSU Gets in based off last year and this year if they stay undefeated. Record v Record period. I don't give a dam about polls or computers. the teams record should do the talking and nothing else. If Bama beats them to a pulp so be it but they deserve the shot based on their record. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
Quillback
If OSU and FSU both win out, I can see OSU moving ahead of FSU, mainly as OSU will have to beet MI State in the Big 10 championship game.
