Quillback Posted November 7, 2013 Posted November 7, 2013 Make sure you don't get lost, QB. Not sure you know your way around that neck of the woods quite yet. Funny thing, there are still some coves and banks in that area that I haven't fished or maybe fished one time. I usually fall back on my tried and true spots, but I try and fish something new every time I go.
Alex Heitman Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Quill I'm the same way. Sometimes I get hung up on an area because it has produced so well and just force one to bite when instead I could be in another spot where they are more active haha. I also try to fish new water everyone I'm out though.
Champ188 Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 That's a good idea QB ... just try one new spot every time out. All of us fight the urge to revisit our old tried-and-true spots. Jason Christie calls it "fishing the history book." I'm going to try your suggestion.
