Big Brown Trout Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 if you like catching chubs Ham maybe you will fish out some of Hickory Creeks surplus for us. Don't know If I will make it or not, I did just buy a new 7wt. today though and would like to give it a run for its money. I'm at a serious handicap though for winter fishing as I don't have a pair of waders, and no way am I getting into a spring creek in Dec without them Let the summer of Carp, begin.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Whats the beef about chubs? rig a 2 or 3 wgt and have some dry fly fun. Purist! Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
