Old plug Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Yeah they would be great especially the little worms. But 50 yrs ago we did not have them
Mitch f Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 I should also say that most of my smallmouth fishing is in the red/ blue ribbon waters. So no plastic trailers. I am going to use some fox tail for some smaller jigs. That hair is around 1.5 inches. Very crawfish looking colors. Have never had anyone answer this question definitively: Can you use a pork trailer in Red/Blue ribbon waters? "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Members Jeremi414 Posted November 10, 2013 Author Members Posted November 10, 2013 I would assume that any thing scented would be completely out of the question.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Yeah they would be great especially the little worms. But 50 yrs ago we did not have them Had them here. If you wonder down the yarn aisle at your friendly Walmart you can find lots of "worm" material. Look for Bernat Baby Blanket yarn, it's like very thick chenille and a little Rit for the right color and you have worms or trailers. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Members Jeremi414 Posted November 10, 2013 Author Members Posted November 10, 2013 I have TONS of Barr's Meat Whistles with tungsten cone heads to try on a spinning outfit also.
Members Jeremi414 Posted November 10, 2013 Author Members Posted November 10, 2013 I could probably even use my larger Clouser Minnows. Which I have tons of also. Without having to pack a long stick also
Gavin Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 No pork or plastic in the red or blue ribbon Mitch. But your hair jigs will work.

Guest Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 I've got a fat coon eating all my deer corn. It might find its way into the jig tying shop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wait 4 hours, go into the garage and remove the humanely dispatched coon...clean the coon poop from the seat. Done "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
