Duck Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 In at Holiday Island at 8:45 off at 2, total of 19 Kentucky's and 3 Bream. 2 would be keeps. Fished creek mouths down to Eagle Rock. Could not catch a shallow fish on anything. All fish were caught on the drop shot with a PBJ finesse worm in 26-30 FOW. Lots of scattered bait. Water temp started at 56 got up to 58.5. Good Fishin, Duck.
abkeenan Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Pretty much the same depth I was seeing fish at in the dam area. 26-30 feet right on the bottom if there wasn't any wood around. But they did bite the jig good.
Quillback Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Better than I did today, I had a total of 4 12" bass.
Champ188 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I think Babler is starting to get the darn things trained to stay deep year-round from one end of the lake to the other.
Quillback Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Yeah it's all Babler's fault He hasn't been providing us with any reports lately, makes me think he's on to a hot bite and he's keeping it secret.
Champ188 Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Last I heard he was trying to slay a deer. Hopefully he didn't revive last year's quest of bowhunting for bear. Too much potential for that to end badly.
