Wayne SW/MO Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I wasn't disappointing overall, yes I would have liked to have won, but the Chiefs were in it all the way. There were some disadvantages for them, mile high is a mile high, the OL of Denver played a great game. No team will shut down Houston and Hali that well very often. The next meeting will be on our turf and we'll see what that brings. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Justin Spencer Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Our receivers create very little separation. Manning had open guys to throw to, and most of the time Alex has to force it in. Thought Alex threw the ball much better last night even though he rarely had an open man, that coverage lead to a couple painful sacks that we can't afford to take. Overall not a bad performance, look forward to the next couple weeks! And yes- give him all the time in the world and he's going to burn you. The announcers said they didn't know why Denver just didn't go to the short pass all night because it was there almost every time. I agree. I think Denver will see a lot of changes to our defense in 2 weeks. That's on the coaches...
KCRIVERRAT Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Goal line stand by Denver inside the 5 hurt, had to kick the field goal. Momentum killer. Donnie Avery dropping balls. Momentum killer. O-Line not protecting and creating long yardage for A. Smith. Again, momentum killer. Wonder if Pinkel would let us use his wideouts for the next Denver game? If not... I still think we win at Arrowhead. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS

I do question some of the plays/players. Running McCluster down the sideline and expecting him to get some seperation from a corner doesn't make sense to me. Running Charles in the middle on the goal line? Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
