Geoff Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 I'll do both as well. For the pond I'll probably do the foam dragon. Not sure for trout yet... "When you do things right, people wont be sure you've done anything at all."
Lancer09 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 For the trout swap I'm doing a stonefly nymph. I have started those. For the pond swap I'm leaning toward some wiggle minnows.
rfd515 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I'm doing this for the trout portion which is a rendition on a Nick Granato fly in Purple (size 6, 5262). Would obviously also work on smallies.

Lancer09 Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 For the pond swap I will be doing a dragonfly nymph. They flat out catch fish on weedlines.
mic Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Updated... Please feel free to tie a couple extra for the SWAP master
mic Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Everytime I've strained rock at BSC, I almost always find a little yellow stonefly, but never had much luck fishing them. Considering they are a year round bug, that really surprises me.
mic Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 Looking for a pond swap idea???? Tell me this would pop some bull gills.
