Big Brown Trout Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 hey if I can I would like to get in on this. (both please) if so I will tie two variations of wooly grubbers that I have been developing. a crayfish grubber and a crappie grubber. both would probably work for trout and pond fish. Let the summer of Carp, begin.
John W Kelly Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 I would like to be in too if I could. I'll supply at least two, or more(?), of my own hot melt glue midge creations that were very productive this past summer and fall at Taneycomo and Bennett Spring. The "Fat Maggot"
Big Brown Trout Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Hey Johnny, sent you back a PM. btw just tied a couple of my Crawgrubbers, pretty sure they will work awesome. Let the summer of Carp, begin.

mic Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Johnny... Just to confirm, you are "not" doing a fly for pond fishing. MIC I would like to be in too if I could. I'll supply at least two, or more(?), of my own hot melt glue midge creations that were very productive this past summer and fall at Taneycomo and Bennett Spring.
mic Posted December 2, 2013 Author Posted December 2, 2013 Alright OAF tyers... we only need one more for a full house. If you are new to tying, jump in. There will be no criticism here, and you can pick up some cool recipes for the spring fishing.
Big Brown Trout Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 maybe we can get Brian Wise in on this?? Let the summer of Carp, begin.
Lancer09 Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 maybe we can get Brian Wise in on this?? Jump in on the Brown Trout streamer swap next summer. He has done it the last two years with us. I've finished six of each. I'm slowly wrapping them up at about one every couple of days or so.
John W Kelly Posted December 4, 2013 Posted December 4, 2013 Johnny... Just to confirm, you are "not" doing a fly for pond fishing. MIC I haven't pond fished with any of my flies, so I don't know how well they would work; otherwise, I would be glad to. I'll do the one pictured below, if you want. It's not flashy or anything, but I caught a Black Crappie with it up by the dam at Taney (and trout too).
