Have a wonderful Holiday and be sure to have that extra piece of pie that we all really need. Rumor has it the fish are really biting and we will try and get ya on them. Members capndan Posted November 29, 2013 Members Posted November 29, 2013 Bill, and fellow fisherman, I have my brother in law in from Wisconsin I live in Kimberling City usually put in Aunts Creek. I am a solid multi species guy and started my bro in law with our bad habit. Went to Wisconsin this summer and he bought a new Triton Allure and I actually put him on 30 plus smallies from 3 to 5 lbs, 2- 28 inch walleye and a host of other 21 24 inch walleye. He thinks I am way better than I am I would be very confident if it were spring early summer Last year I had a banner day and put him on a bunch of nice fish including a 7 an 3/4 but since I coach I rarely fish late fall winter. Don't want him to go home without stretching his line but since I haven't been out much and a short window I am a little nervous. 3 weekends ago I limited on whites 2-3lbers and also caught a mixed bag of bass 15 -5 keeps two shoulder pull offs halfway between aunts and Piney. With above info you would think I don't need any help but I am really a river creek guy and can flat put my buddies on fish in that venue and a duffer in the lake, but he is set on the lake and window dictates lake and in this area. Would love your advice or anyone reading this. Any ideas where and what to do? Will be fishing tomorrow (Friday from about 10 am until 3 pm is our only window. I want to put him on some good bass fishing. What do you think? Thanks and hope your Turkey was moist!
Champ188 Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 Happy Thanksgiving to all. Among the things I'm thankful for are my good friends here on the forum, which is an absolute cornucopia of fishing information (and sometimes priceless entertainment) but it goes far beyond that. There are lots of good folks here, and I wish each of you a day (and weekend) of sincere gratitude, valuable time with loved ones and maybe even time to get on the water and catch a few swimmers.
glennL Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 I appreciate all of you that have contributed articles and help this past year. I'm a part time resident and fish the lake when I can. But most of all, i enjoy reading these posts every day and it takes my mind to Table Rock. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and God bless each of you and yours. Glenn
