Quillback Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 HAHA, I'm not going to be fishing on the 10th, 6 degrees in the AM is a little too cold for me.
powerdive Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 For what it's worth, Quill, I can predict your future. Next time out, you'll catch about a dozen dink bass, including one or two "keepers" which you will not actually keep.

I haven't caught a walleye since July - I'm due for one.

powerdive Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 Not to worry, Champ. There's a fun little subtext under the surface on this one. Try the veal, I hear it's excellent...
Champ188 Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 I love the friendly banter. Lots of fun on these cold days. Speaking of which, shouldn't be long before we start catching some of those toothy "eatin' fish" on jerkbaits.

I don't think much of a dent was put in TR's eye population last year, so have at 'em. And if you don't catch enough for dinner, I learned last year that when zippered, the largemouth fillets actually make decent table fare.
bfishn Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 That's cause there aren't any left. Beaver's the hot ticket now. I can't dance like I used to.
