Does anyone know what size hooks they come with originally? I thought it was a 6, but was smaller than stock hooks, looked at a 4, bigger than original. Do they make a size 5? I have taken some off of my storm sticks to use, but running out of them. thanks for the help.

The Owner Stingers of which dblades speaks are excellent hooks. I've had very good experiences with them but they are much like the Daichi Deathtraps ... don't get anything near them that you don't want impaled, including yourself. :)

I run a couple of different hook combos on my warts. First combo I have a size 4 (front) and 6 (back) Owner-ST 41. Excellent hooks. Anything touches it...it gets suck...period. Other combo I have I just use two size 4 KVD Elite Triple Grips short shank. You really can't go wrong with either set up. If you are really wanting the size 5 then the Owner ST-36 is the best choice to go with there like dblades and Champ have mentioned. Just FYI the OLD OLD wiggle warts circa 1970's and 80's had the chrome plated trebles and they were/are incredibly small. If I had to guess they would be a size 8 treble (maybe even smaller).

abkeenan obviously knows his stuff about these hook sizes. I buy quality hooks but I do good not to put two on there that end up hanging on each other every other cast. LOL

I don't always throw wiggle warts, but when I do, it has Owner hooks. Stay hungry my fish.
