New Year's Day Trip

Got a chance to spend the first day of 2014 with a couple of great friends on the Niangua. It's wasn't a great numbers day, but we had an awesome guide that put us on some fish. And it was just a blast being on the river and enjoying a nice day.

Getting out was easy. Walking back in was a bit sketchy but I will survive.

Ya mean the place where 1/2 of you candyasses declared that you weren't going any further and hiked back to the cabin? A crime indeed. Although had I agreed to join you I would not have had to flirt with hypothermia. Pretty sure I got skunked too.

Yep that's the place. We didn't hike though, we just refused to leave again after the pit stop.
