Flysmallie Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Got a chance to spend the first day of 2014 with a couple of great friends on the Niangua. It's wasn't a great numbers day, but we had an awesome guide that put us on some fish. And it was just a blast being on the river and enjoying a nice day. And he's a buddy so you can take that for what it's worth, but if you need a guide check out Jeff Trigg at www.ozarksweetwater.com. He's a great guy and he will take care of you.
Wayne SW/MO Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I'm amazed..............that you didn't get caught sneaking out of the house. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

patfish Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Great pics Flysmallie, as usual. Looks like a good time and some pretty fish. That's a sweet drifter.

fishinwrench Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I thought about you as we floated past the scene of the crime. Ya mean the place where 1/2 of you candyasses declared that you weren't going any further and hiked back to the cabin? A crime indeed. Although had I agreed to join you I would not have had to flirt with hypothermia. Pretty sure I got skunked too.
Flysmallie Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Yep that's the place. We didn't hike though, we just refused to leave again after the pit stop.
KCRIVERRAT Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hey I know that crazy little red-head... he caught his first flyrod smallie floating with me. He old enough yet to hit that YJ? Looks like you guys had a sweet ride Ronnie. HUMAN RELATIONS MANAGER @ OZARK FISHING EXPEDITIONS
