Flysmallie Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Ronnie, I think I will be giving you a call or text. Sounds like it is worth a try. Don't worry, we will take good care of your girl and I won't tell the wife either.
Flysmallie Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 The plastic epoxy remains flexible, so it works well for large areas like that, but it isn't a truly permanent fix...it will eventually wear off or peel off. Adhesion is the biggest problem. It's really not the fault of the product it's just one of those perils of repairing plastic. Overall it's a very simple repair that in most cases is stronger than the original plastic, IF you can get good adhesion.
grizwilson Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Chief I have done smaller patches with this stuff, look at the videos, the one on the kayak repair got me to try it. If you will wait and watch Jamestown often runs free shipping. It holds, flexes and is tough. http://www.jamestowndistributors.com/userportal/show_product.do?pid=8694 a friend shaved lego pieces and softened with acetone???? g “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
