Had to scroll through the listings to find the Mo vs AR game tonight. 6 PM on ESPNU.

That was a disappointment to me. I only have ESPN &ESPN 2......gonna have to listen to this one on the radio, most likely. A bit of a surprise too, as this is could have been billed as a "rivalry" game between two pretty decent teams. Oh well.

Yeah I thought for sure one of the ESPN's one or two would carry it. They are showing the LSU/Kentucky game, Kentucky being what I'd call a glamour team, is why they're showing it over AR/MO. My opinion.

Big win for Mizzou. They got a little lucky in that Arky missed some open threes that every other team Mizzou has played this year has buried. But they played decent defense and made big shots, including big free throws. The Pigs turned it over too much. Clark was solid bringing the ball up against the press when he was in. Jabari shot lights out, but had some bad turnovers against the press and some of the open threes were shot and sometimes made because he wasn't guarding his man well. Brown and Ross both picked up two fouls early, and the subs, including Rector, Jones, and Criswell, didn't look good when they were in, but they at least ate some minutes. JWIII was a beast on the boards as usual. That kid is going to be something when he gets a little more meat on his bones.

Well, that was fun. Arkansas made it very, very tough down the stretch, but Missouri found a way to make just enough shots. One thing about Frank Haith: he is pretty good at getting plays called out of timeouts. That has gotten Missouri out of more than a few jams in late game situations this year; it nearly always has resulted in an open 3 that ties the game or retakes the lead. Even though we've later given some of those games away on the defensive end, it's a vast, vast improvement in that area over last year.

If Missouri keeps it going, this win has a chance to help save the season. They get back to a respectable 4-3 in league play. If they can knock off Kentucky, they'll go into the back half of league play in good shape for the NCAA tournament. With a loss to Kentucky, they're will be pressure to either knock off Florida on the road (that's gonna be tough, though not impossible) or somehow get to 24-25 wins and take it out of the committees hands. But realistically, they have to beat Kentucky or Florida.

Well I expected a close game, but I thought AR could pull it out. Mizzou dominated the offensive glass, it's tough to win when you keep giving the other team 2nd and 3rd chances. Hard to be a consistent winner when you rely on three's. AR needs to develop an inside game, they have a couple of big freshmen, but they're both fairly raw.

Good win for the Tiggers, I think I saw their next three games are Kentucky, Florida, and Ol Miss? If they can take 2 out of those 3, might be looking pretty good as far as making the NCAA"s.

Just looked at scores from last night and I see Kentucky got beat by LSU. I'm beginning to think Kentucky is a bit overrated.

missouri kept going on runs when arkansas got close or took the lead....great composure by the tigers!!! the end of the first half was brutal offensively when brown and ross both had to sit.....turned a ten point lead into a 2 point lead over the last five minutes.... still hate anderson's style of slap and hack, even when at mizzou......thought the officials did a good job dealing with it, which surprises me at home!!! mizzou blows out arkansas at home unless something drastic happens!!!! I am gladly eating my words of ark winning by 10+.........teams get better or worse, they don't stay the same,,,,,,,,maybe the tigers are getting better!!! agree about comment on kentucky!!!

Yeah, Kentucky will always get top 5 hype.....even coming off an NIT season. I do expect them to make the tournament, but they are essentially just another bubble team at this point. It came against some tougher competition and their RPI number is somewhat better, but it's funny to think their win/loss record is actually worse than Missouri's. And everyone is saying Missouri is the last team in or first out. The Wildcats better be careful.

go SLU

I couldn't agree more Jerry.....when I watch SLU it's like okay that's good basketball, conversely watching Missouri is enough to make you sick....un skilled big men and horrible guard play with a very selfish style. Will Missouri make the Tourney???? who cares because they will get destroyed if they do.....Haith better start recruiting because the future is coming fast.

all I can say is thank goodness I get to root for SLU a very well coached TEAM.....I want Missouri to do good but, what Haith has going right now is ugly to watch.
