We may get a chance sooner rather than later Phil if you come down in early Feb.

You guys know Taneycomo and it may very well be different, but I do ok with 6 lb mono on the White below BSL and Norfork.I'll use 4 lb to help throw light jigs, but I'm never going to 2 lb. Never.

Cool video Phil. What type and weight jig are you throwing ? You've got me intrigued to try this technique real soon. You say 2 lbs line ? Or 4 ?

1/8th ounce with this much water. 4 pound line is fine.

Ham and Phil, I may try to come there as well in Feb. Phil, I think I fish my jig a lot similar to your technique, it surely does work!! Ham feels for the bite a lot more, and it sure works for him. Richard Cross pops and drops and doesn't feel for the bite much, and he nails them. In conclusion, jig's are just awesome for catching trout I've come to realize!
