Stump bumper Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I hear a lot of people who don't want to share their favorite go to lures like someone else is going to use it. In my experience unless your initials are KVD other people will not give up throwing their lure and use yours even when you are catching big fish left and right on the same boat. But I love to see those weird lures that work for other people since my favorite should not be a clear water lake. So here is a pic of my go to lure and got my personal best bag out of Beaver, now I have showed you mine, let's see yours..lol
Members Greg W Posted January 17, 2014 Members Posted January 17, 2014 I do not know how to copy and past. My favorite lure is a chartreuse sassy shad. It does not appear to be a popular bait in beaver.
J-Doc Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I don't know that I have a "go-to" lure. I use a variety of things depending on what I'm fishing for at the time. I do favor a Zoom centipede worm in the summer. I have a few colors that work well. Feathers&Fins go-to lure is WITHOUT A DOUBT the Flicker Shad (as if that was a surprise here) Need marine repair? Feathers and Fins Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Keitech swing impact sexy shad #426 Flicker shad is my fish finder the keitech is the fish catcher. Walleye, Striper and Bass it catches fish after the flicker locates the biters. The keitech is very versatile it can be A-rigged, Jigged, stand alone swim bait, Carolina or Texas rigged etc it offers the ability to do a lot. Now crappie its the flicker shad. But all around favorite is the Swing Impact. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
kjackson Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Luhr Jensen's 1/4 Hot Lips...catches just about everything from salmon in the saltwater to walleyes, crappie--but not stripers so far, nor walleyes in Arkansas. Soft plastic favorite is any four-inch ringworm on a plain jighead...
