Members Whit Warriors Posted January 19, 2014 Members Posted January 19, 2014 The boat was rocking on the rock today. Fished in the wind all day and boated 31 bass with 5 keepers. Measured several others just too short . All Kentuckys with two smallies. Jigging spoon the best bait all day. Great day on TR. Almost had the lake to ourselves.

Saw many many shad balls at 50 plus feet so I targeted that depth. Guess that was wrong. If you don't mind, what seemed to be the best depth for your success? Had about 45 degree water up around Mill Creek ramp area. Thanks for your nice report. Topwater TRL
Champ188 Posted January 19, 2014 Posted January 19, 2014 Glad I stayed home. Fighting that kind of wind for 31 fish is just a bit slow for my taste. I prefer to be up in the 50-plus bracket with a little better keeper-to-shorts ratio. But good job out there. Bet your TM batteries were happy to see the charger when you got home.
