Jeff Tief Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Wonderful pictures and I'm sure memories for you. Thanks for sharing them
BilletHead Posted January 20, 2014 Author Posted January 20, 2014 Thanks all, I will share four more for grins. Not antiques like the previous but retro for sure. These are from the early eighties. BilletHead Jr. with one of my trapped bobcats. Oh yes I had my trapping days in the past. A couple with fox. I really liked greys as they were frisky and they wanted to fight you like bobcats. The reds were timid and you could grab and hold them like a dog, carefully though. I have taken greys out of traps alive but it did include a wrestling match of sorts. Another day with a couple of grays and a coyote, BilletHead "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S. "May your fences be short or hope you have long legs" BilletHead
ness Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Man, those old ones are priceless. I wish I could lay my hands on some old pics of my own, but they've been lost to time. John
Njardar Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 If you have family you want to share the pictures and stories with you can put them in MS Word and then print to a .pdf with freeware like PDFCreator. I did this for my second cousin from Oslo who had lost track of our side of the family. I was also able to share the file with first cousins and their children. All the best, -Charlie
Members baker Posted January 21, 2014 Members Posted January 21, 2014 Great pics your lucky to have them.
Mitch f Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I'm always mildly disgusted with my wife for always taking photos at every event, including going out to dinner. But in the end, the memory that's locked in my head won't be available to my ancestors when I'm worm food. So in the end she is right for doing it! awesome pics!!
