Went out today and fished Goldilocks hours, 10 AM to 3 PM. Water was dead flat calm until 1 PM or so, then the wind started to pick-up. Picked up a few off a brush pile in 20 FOW, a couple off a steep chunk rock bank, again out in the 20 foot range. A couple of random ones off deep trees - ended up with 7 bass, 6 of them LM's and a solitary spot. Slow dragging a tube got my fish, did throw a jerker for a bit, but no bites on it.

Water temps were 40-42, water up in the Big M area has a greenish stain, looks like a plankton bloom to me.

Looks like we're going to get yet another cold blast, grrrrr.....

Thanks for the report. Glad you caught some.Nice bass by the way. I've been dying to get down there and go but the boat is in storage right now and I'm knee deep in school work. Most likely will make it down in a week or two.

Thanks for the solid report, QB. Glad you got a few bites. You did better than a lot of guys have been doing.

That darn TX rig would make me nuts in the rocks. Well done.

I do get hung up every once in a while as you can imagine.

QB. Try a jikka rig tube. Hangs less and easier to fish slow.

Good idea, I'll give it a shot next time I'm out.

Haven't you heard? Jika Rigs are now illegal in the state of Missouri. Only legal in one section of the lake and that is Aunts Creek.
