And never, ever use a red & chartreuse sugar-booger on anything with a spinner. All you will catch are these things.....

The flat creek used to be a fabulous place to fish for crappies in the spring huge crappies. And about 10 years ago all these IDIOTS STARTED posting all the big crappies they catch and now in the spring you have boats lined up like show time in Branson. I actually got a 43/16 crappie 12 years ago back there. But that is the electronic world we live in now.

I am the only one who posted a photo on this thread, so I assume you are referring to me as one of "these IDIOTS". I have also posted a photo on another thread about King's River, so I suppose that makes me one of THOSE IDIOTS as well & I have now ruined that arm of the lake, too?

I dont know if you have been anywhere else on any lake in the Ozarks in the past 10 years besides Flat Creek, but they all have plenty of boats packed into any spot with a stick poking up out of the water. Even places I have not posted photos or talked about.

As I read back through this thread, I can't help but notice that Lewis had asked about fishing upstream from a Bridge by Cape Fair. There are many miles of water that fit that description. The details of a few productive spots were sent via IM, and not visible to the masses. If that generic descriptions in the thread and a photo of one fish has offended your delicate nature then I suppose you will just have to be offended. Your opinion is your opinion and you are welcome to express it, but even us IDIOTS have opinions too. I will keep mine to myself and continue to enjoy catching fish whether other boats are around or not.
