I agree. They have the sticker ruler for like 2-3$ at academy that makes it easy to stick on side of boat or anywhere flat. Easy to lay the fish down on and snap a quick pic and release

I'd be game if it was CPR as well. I've kicked around the idea of having a "braggin rights" type event. I think it would be a blast. Plus, it'd give me the chance to see some of the other pretty fish on this lake :P

I'd be in if it were CPR also.. Or if livewells were required. Its an awfully small body of water to have that many people out there for an extended period of time. Anyways as long as all the fish can be released unharmed then im okay with it I guess

Lake springfield is not condusive for tournaments! It is a great fishery that has tremdous fishing pressure already! Please, lets not screw it up by holding tournaments on one of the best little fisheries in the area! purpleworm

Yes, I'm sure half a dozen guys who would be fishing there anyway start taking a few pictures and seeing who did better, and then it's "THE END OF THE FISHING WORLD AT LAKE SPRINGFIELD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!!!!!!"

I think what they're saying is once some other people start seeing some pictures, a whole bunch of people who would not normally go there would start going there adding to the existing pressure. A buddy drove over the 65 bridge a couple weeks ago before it froze on a nice day, counted 9 boats he could see from the bridge. This was not on a weekend. I agree the CPR folks would not change much, but their photos would.
