Yeah...the Fish Stocking Hotline claimed January-Wabash was stocked on Tuesday and Thursday the week before last -- a double stocking. I went there the next Saturday and it was iced over. You can see where MDC broke the ice to dump the fish. My heart was broken. There were more than 800 trout (my tax dollars) underneath the ice and I couldn't do any thing about it. I assume the ice has thickened, by now, but I doubt a guy would be allowed out on the ice with an auger. Yeah I do have cabin fever. I pick up a rod out of my rack and hold it for a spell once or twice a day.

I was in the neighborhood bar and told this story to the guy who now owns it. He told me I need a bowling ball with a hole drilled into it, an eye mounted in it with a cable attached. You throw the bowling ball as far as you can. It breaks through the ice and as you pull it back with the cable the cable breaks the ice to shore and you have a lane to fish in. Has anyone heard of this? Is it legal or ethical? He would not be pulling my leg on this.

I just saw that for the first time last week and I think it's one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I never stayed up late enough for Late Night so didn't know much about his show. Watched the "Best of" special and that's some funny stuff.

Me too. Yesterday I told a friend at work I was on 5 days with that song stuck in my head.

It's a Small World -- that's out of bounds, F&F. I hate that song -- always have. When we went to Disney World many years ago, my kids could't WAIT to do that ride because they knew it would drive me nuts. And, it did.
