JohnP Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 The last photo isn't a waterfowl hunt pic but was one of the most personal meaningful hunts I had this past season. Sitting in the stand during rifle season when it dawned on me as the sun was rising that I was using my grand fathers ol' JC Higgins Model 50 Sears & Roebuck 30-.06. Never had the opportunity/pleasure to hunt him while he was alive but its an honor for me to be able to carry on the tradition and one that will passed down for generations to come. I just couldn't help but think he was there with me in spirit on that hunt.

I guess that's why hunting is a heritage.
