Al Agnew Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Yeah, that one in Farmington hit us really bad. The eeriest thing was to sit in the house, without power, in the dark, and hear trees in the woods behind the house crashing to the ground in what was otherwise dead silence. We have some big trees very close to the house, and were just waiting for one of them to come through the roof.
gotmuddy Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I really would rather forget about it! It was horrible, you couldnt go anywhere, and we were without power or water for 14 days. For two days the only meter turning for north arkansas electric was at Eaton. I was lucky enough to be able to shower at work. I had a very small cheap harbor freight generator that saved our butts for those two weeks. everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Feathers and Fins Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 I remember it and wish I could forget it! Looks like another one is possible next week and im hoping not but boy are the weathermen talking about it already. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
