tried about everything and everywhere from state park to ruark but everything is iced in. Unless somebody has a good idea, don't waste your time driving up here to catch the crappie. The wind on thursday will hopefully break this up enough to get a boat on the water by friday. Crappie have been going crazy, sure they still are it's just we can't get to them.

Yep thanks Bob. I was going to drive down to State Park and play with my new Accu Vu off one of the docks but I guess that is out of the question right now.

Drove over Y Bridge outside of Sons Creek today. Ice as far as could see up River. Down river towards state park was icey too. Looked to be some open water towards the dam, but I would say there is very little open water. The way it looked there is no hope for getting a boat in the water at stockton right now.
