I really dont give a darn. I was told your a tournament sponsor. Your making plenty off this I bet. i have never been to your site do bot care to got there. I was told you are a enterpriser. Lets just call it that. i do not really care for people telling every pone on the internet where to go when to go and what to use. Most of us had to learn that. and at 100 bucks membership. It seems pretty outrageous.

Oh boy, here we go....

First off I think it's pretty thin-skinned and short sighted to assume that nobody would ever say anything derogatory about a fishing report website designed to generate MONEY. So acting surprised and offended is a tad lame IMO. I'm pretty sure it's not the first time someone said it, and I'm 100% sure that it's not the first time someone THOUGHT it.

Secondly, when did being a "hustler" become a bad thing?

You wanna catch fish better than 80% of the other guys....you gotta hustle.

You wanna create a money generating website....you gotta hustle.

You wanna get ahead in life in whatever avenue you've chosen...... Better hustle.

Old Plug is a good dude, know him personally and have no doubts that his intentions were directed towards the best interest of the person he was responding to.

In short...if you gotta ask about the validity of a site like BB then the odds are that you really can't afford to just gamble with 40 bucks. And the odds ALSO are that all the info gathered there (or anywhere else for that matter) is not gonna win you a check this season.

Do you wanna take money from guys that might be short on rent but just really REALLY want a little edge in their fishing? Because that's the kinda guy OP probably thought he was responding to.

The targeted audience IS competitive fishermen, correct?

So to deny that it's a "hustle" is in itself a Hustle.

Can a BB subscriber benefit from a hustle? Dunno. Subscribe and then ask the members if any of them have the BB community to thank for stretching the seams on their last bag of fish.....Or do they take the majority of credit for it themselves? :)

How'bout it Smalliebigs, did the info you gained by being a paying member of BB put you closer to being on a good bite than you were capable of without it?

You are out of touch dude. You don't even have your facts straight. I now have a better perspective from the anglers that emailed me about you. No worries. Just get your facts straight dude, calling some a hustler without specific knowledge is not only offensive but of low character. Just saying.....

MFU, all good points that you make. The site is for bass fisherman of all levels, not just tournament fisherman to answer your question. I simply is quite irritating that someone that does not have first hand knowledge about the depth, quantity and quality of the content would make such accusations. My personal integrity is of the utmost importance, not enterprising, not hustling (yes I hustle my butt off to get fisherman great info and have the respect of the pros to provide such. If any of you, including MFU, Old Plug or any of you that have replied here would like to have a pro membership to see all of the content, send me your email address and I will send you a promo code. With first hand knowledge, I will accept all criticism and input to improve so to provide you with maximum value. Just send me an email, give me a call at 314-575-5545 and come out from behind your computer and lets have lunch and discuss. Bob

Ask Bob he should know that. You can yac all you want but I do not agree with giving out everything. and i am surprised really that some of your lakes best fisherman will do that. finding the fish and the pattern is a big part of fishing. And Im am sorry Bob but this looks like a business venture to me. That is all I will have to say about it.

What's wrong with a business venture?

I make darn good pizza. But sometimes I don't want to screw with it so I order one. Should the pizza place give it to me because I can make one better than them?

Of course it's a business venture, but not just for Bob's sake I assume. THAT'S how he's getting guys to share more than they would otherwise.

The membership fee probably serves to keep out the rif-raf as well.

Yo Bob, Whaddaya do when you get somebody posting over there that's being cranky and causing a stir? Boot'em off and refund their fees? Pro-rated of course. :D

Hey MFU and Old Plug, I have now received many emails from others following this discussion, supporting Bassing Bob website and suggesting that neither of you have any credibility at all. Interesting for sure. But in the meantime, thank you both for your comments and for keeping this forum going as it provides Bassing Bob with some additional exposure, our website hits have spiked, so thank you. As for some of your derogatory comments about Bassing Bob experts (wow, you guys have really poked at some great fisherman) who are also plugged into this and you two, they are appalled and are anxious to know who you are, as their intentions as are mine is simply to promote LOZ bass fishing and help fisherman, they do not give up their spots, specific baits, etc, they just want fisherman to have a better experience of catching fish on LOZ and get more fisherman to enjoy good fishing on the lake. As for you two, the question has been, how often have either of you been in the paycheck line at tournaments, once, twice, or regularly? If you would actually go on the website, you would see that we are actively working with MDC and DNR at LOZ to improve the fishery at the lake, this is not about enterprise, or whatever you small minded people think, this is truly meant to improve everything possible for the fishing. My members and experts expect that neither of you are very competent fisherman, who knows, maybe you are. So, come out from behind your computers like real men, I have provided you my phone number, my email address and free promo codes, but I have not heard from either of you. Lets have lunch and discuss further, contact me, get your promo code, it is free to you and let em know if your feel the content is of value for the broad range of fisherman (160,000 per year) that fish the lake of the Ozarks. The website is simply a passion of mine to bring valuable and time sensitive information for bass fisherman on the lake. Come out from behind your computers guys!!! Be real men and lets discuss in person.
