Its a privately owned rv park, atleast thats what they told me.

they might want to hit on you for a launch fee. I would drive down there and check with the people. some of those places charge you to put it in and to take it out. They really. work that racket on LOZ.

The Last Resort Campground is just up the road on Hwy M. 821/2 mm. It's on the correct side of the road and they use to charge 5 bucks to put in/out...nice folks. I had a camper there for years back in the day.

They said $500 to rent a dock and launch for a year. I explained to them that wed prolly only be down a few weekends a year so it sounded like theyre gonna work something cheaper out. Id be fine with paying a couple hundred bucks a year, beings as how this place is literally a block from ours. Considering its at the ozarks, I dont think even the $500's a bad deal for someone thats there all the time. I dont know what the going rate down there is, but up here in iowa youll pay a couple grand for a slip on a much less desirable lake.

I see that theres another forum for the Truman taiilwater/upper osage river. Should I be posting these questions here in the Lake of the Ozarks section or over there?

Tomato/Tomatoe

Thats kinda what I figured, lakes lake. The only reason I was really wondering is because I noticed that there are guys that post in that section and not this one!

Looking more, I see that that section gets very little activity, most of the threads are months old.
