Clay Goforth Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 Has anyone started to see walleye moving up into the river yet? I am really really tempted to go out tomorrow morning and just wondering what people were seeing so far... I can't wait to smell the white bass too!! npierceuark Posted February 28, 2014 Posted February 28, 2014 caught one up the white last weekend. caught him while crappie fishing. Water temps were in the low 50's but I'm sure it's dropped substantially since last sunday.

I was hoping for that was not the case but I believe you're correct. I was hoping to hit that end of the river myself tomorrow for a while before all the weather breaks loose. Need marine repair? I'm probably going to put in at Blue Springs and head up the river a little ways from there. If you are out in the morning, say hello. I'm in a 2000 Series Supreme with a 30hp Yamaha jet. You can tell me where all the fish are. rps Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 There are no walleye in the White River until you go below Big M. And the license to fish for them is way too expensive. Best save your time and money and fish somewhere else.

Best save your time and money and fish somewhere else. RPS, where are you talking in regard to Big M? I am talking about the river system that feeds into the Blue Springs area of Beaver and winds its way up to Twin Bridges on HWY 45. I was planning on putting in at Blue Springs and heading up river just a ways to see if any of them are staging in the deep holes at the mouth of the river. J-Doc Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I think it's still a bit early myself for them to be that far up river. I am going to Horseshoe Ben and work my way down from there. May end up in War Eagle before day is done. Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks.
