regardless of what you believe, the fact is state regulations ban felt soles. thats just the way it is. if you don't like it or you disagree with it, it doesn't make it okay to disregard it.

Well I sure as hell hope you are not exceeding the speed limit at any time.

Willard? Well I know you aren't on 160. Somebody please make that a 4 lane!

I know it's a regulation and I bought new boots to go along. But it's crazy for the state to require guys like Glen and Justin (and probably a lot of others) to buy new boots when they will most likely only see one body of water. Not to mention the fact that the scientists that came up with this idea are now saying "Well, maybe not". It was a knee jerk reaction that everyone is now pulling back from.

I'm a bit of a rebel lawbreaker, I don't condone my behavior, but my tailbone does, yesterday I did wear my legal boots since I was taking people out, I'm a closet felt user and only use alone. Does this mean I have a problem?

Not as long as you don't ask for special treatment.

Krazo I think telling someone to follow the letter of the law might work well in most instances, but there will always be exceptions. The law is designed to stop the spread of a moss, so if you NEVER put a boot down where it exists, why should you pay the price to keep a few from stopping the spread. They could require special paint on boats and motors to prevent zebra mussels also, but the don't.

Four lane 160? That's what eastern Taney county uses to imitate the rides at Steal your dollar City. You think it's bad in Greene county, take a drive to Theodosia, or Sunburst ranch from Forsyth.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

No, but it does mean that some judgmental person with a soap box can determine you don't give a dung about the NFOW without doing the requisite research for such a bold proclamation. Perhaps a little digging and he could have seen that you don't tag the deer hit by cars, fish for bass during the "closed" season or even keep a few fish now and again. I don't think he knows how far off the deep end he waded Justin. Even cleated felt soles won't save his butt in that run.
