Hey everyone, Im new to this forum, but am From the Flat Creek area.... My son and I are just getting into Crappie and White bass, and are eager to learn. Duckydoty I noticed you mentioned a 10 inch length on crappie earlier...thats not a length limit is it? I checked the MDC Regulations site and they do not specify a length limit.

I'm fishing the Flat Creek area/arm of Table Rock Lake so Table Rock Lake rules apply.

Yeah, I was all rigged and tied up for drifting heavy weights and jigs in 20 feet of water with high winds thinking I was gonna tear it up yesterday. Spent all day trying to make it happen……nope, they were up shallow on structure, and I did not figure that out till the end of the day.

Yes there's a 10-inch limit on crappie on Table Rock Lake. 15 daily and 30 possession limit.

The area DD is fishing, although called Flat Creek, is still Table Rock Lake. I'm sure at some point up in the creek there's a line that changes from "lake" to "creek" in which the limit will change to the general Missouri rule which is no length limit and 30/60 crappie BUT you better not ~catch~ in the creek and ~transport~ out on the lake cause it is ~possession~ that is the rule. You could not prove you caught those short crappie in the creek when you have them on the lake.

Anyone know where that line is?
