Members keljer7 Posted March 15, 2014 Members Posted March 15, 2014 What is the best technique to fish this rig? This rig is new to me but looks & sounds very much worth the while to learn how to fish it.

Old plug Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Yeah champ about the same I do with a cast net for shad. plain ridiculous. they get so far gone on the stories they trip up. that is in access of 1a minute.
dtrs5kprs Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 300 fish in 4 hours? The logistics would certainly be challenging. There are some county and state lakes within an hour or so of Kansas City where it might be possible to have that kind of day. Small lakes with grass and lots of largemouth.
Pepe Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Alright I promise this will be the last silly question on this subject for a while .... What knot do you use to tie on the jig head when using a floro leader??? This video shows a simple and amazingly effective knot for tying on leader.
Pepe Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 My box is loaded and ready. I found that pre-rigging baits with a lot of salt causes my hooks to rust
