I'm betting it will be a tournament like the flw had a few years ago with Brent Ehler winning out of owl creek and Roger Sheffield taking second out of aunts creek. Grubs , sticks and cranks.

I seem to remember a few years ago a fellow won it by finding LM and flipping laydowns in shallow dirty water.

Thus also why I said Palanuik. It's in his wheel house for sure. That and his squarebill crankbait tactics match that of Rick Clunn. One would think Rick will do well since it is his home lake but........these new guys are just dang good! I think Rick has a good chance to be in the top 20 for sure and if he pulls out an old-school trick, he could be in the top-10.

They all need to be glad Robbie Dodson isn't qualified for the Elite Series. That boy is some kind of tough on Table Rock this time of year. He's big friends with Christie (they used to room together on FLW) so JC may get some good help from him.

Far as Palaniuk goes, hope he misses the cut. Really tired of him being on every other page of Bassmaster and BASS Times just because he's the fair-haired pretty boy and the apple of McKinnis' eye. Just my own opinion.

Remember when Gary Klein won the BASS event on Table Rock in 1996 throwing a stickbait up the James on gravel banks just inside the coves off of the channel bluff points. This could be the ticket. I'll go out on a limb and pick Gary Klein. He could repeat.
