Members capndan Posted March 23, 2014 Members Posted March 23, 2014 I hate to be mean but I must admit that thought crossed my mind and it would teach him a lesson. Lets just hope he reads the site and checks his prop and goes wow I was a jerk wasn't I ha! My partner went without me this morning and said he caught several keeper crappie early before boats got going and limited on whites by 9:30. Said he continued toward Flat creek Bridge and caught a nice 16 in largemouth and more crappie but then headed in to make the wife happy so kudos to Coach Kohl! Wish I was there but too much to do here at the house and March madness to! Hope to get out next week. Love reading all your posts and learning from all of you. Thanks Phil for a place to learn new things ! If your reading this My buddy and I took your advice and killed the trout this winter in Taneycomo. I became a better jig fisherman studying your info films and it really paid off. Looking forward to teaching my uncle who just moved to Branson and loves to fish.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 23, 2014 Author Root Admin Posted March 23, 2014 Thanks- I love this place too!
ten_scoach Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Well, guess I'll chime in.....I was tonto for the ranger capndan yesterday and boy what a blast catching 3lb whites 50 yards behind the boat on the troll. Like many of you, I am lucky to know someone who will share how to catch some fish. As he posted, got our limits of whites yesterday at the mouth of flat. Must be a bunch of shad in there because the gulls were thick this morning. Marked most of my fish in 20 fow down towards the bottom early this morning. Had my limit of whites by 9:30m although I did miss my favorite discontinued flicker shad that is in a pro craft prop. Surface water temp was 48 by 9 am. Crappie shut off for me once all the boats showed up to get after it. Thanks for the posts and tight lines all.

dtrs5kprs Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 If you can't find them, PM me. I'm 15 minutes from the KCK Cabelas. They are pretty "walleye" heavy in their selection.
Sac River Jim Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 is the #015 purple tiger the other one you guys were using
