*T* Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Friends & family had good action on shallow jerkbait bite Saturday. Good number of three to four pounders, plus 5 or 6 in the five up to seven pound range. I want more. "Water is the driving force of all Nature." -Leonardo da Vinci
mwfischer Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Wow, yes what part? That is incredible compared to 3/15-3/17, unless that was operator error.
nomolites Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 There was a good bite in the Gravois and on the N. Shore as well. Pitch I right up on the rocks and wind it down a few turns and let it sit; repeat - within one or two it was "smack". The fish I caught did NOT want it jerked at all.
fishinwrench Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Just got in off the water and the cold snap hasn't hurt the bite at all. Quite a few more short fish to wade thru, but that's probably just a result of the weekend fishing pressure. Jerkbaits and slipping a grub down the chunky banks will keep you busy for sure.
