Fish were really hitting yesterday in the kings river on a red crank bait in 4-10 ft. Along the rock bluffs slow retrieve. Over 50 with 12 keepers in the 3-5 range

Wow ! Bet the CPA boys wished they had fished the Kings yesterday. Only 1 limit caught out of the pros and amatuers combined. They didnt fair nearly as well as you did. Heres the results from CPA.

CPA on Lake of the Ozarks..???

Yes, my bad CPA on Lake of the Ozarks. Just used to them all being held on Table Rock. Still bet they wished there were in the kings. brains...!.png

I fished Shell Knob today and did not go into the muddy water. Did speak with two different guys that fished up there, mostly cranking. Said it was really tough.

I'm sure the Elite guys will fish that off color water and catch them, but anyone that catches 50 fish per day with that many keeps up to 5 pounds is doing a great job, and that is the extreme exception to the rule, not the norm.

Dang, LOZ one week prior to this, buddy tourney 5 fish 20.15 shallow jerk bait, 2 - 5 feet, pea gravel. Big change in one week.
