Old plug Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 just want to know if anyone has tried the 3" stickos on a ned rig? I have some and will be using them later in the season. I will be using them on a 1/8 oz. Head of some sort. It should work just fine.
Ham Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 3 inch Senko on a Ned is very effective in warmer water. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Guest Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 3 inch Senko on a Ned is very effective in warmer water. It's also a killer drop shot option. I like the 3" yum dinger myself. Either way it's skinny enough to work as a little rig. Trouble is, they tear up where elaztech ages with every bite. That stuff gets spongy, then you've made it.
Ham Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I actually like a NON GYCB version myself. I got some 3 inch DIngers for 88 cents a bag at an Academy store. I was in a rush so I only got about 8 bags. I wish I had bought every darn one they had. I get my 3 inch sticks from Barlow's in the 100 packs. You can get the cost under 10 cents a bait that way. dblades Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I've only got Watermelon Red, Pumpkinseed, White w/silver flake and June-bug in my Ned box.
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 I ended up getting some of the strike zeros in the " new money" color. now i just need a day off to go fishing
dtrs5kprs Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 I ended up getting some of the strike zeros in the " new money" color. now i just need a day off to go fishing New Money can be good when they are on beds (bluegill look), or small craws. For those who have not seen it, EZ Money is just a green pumpkin/watermelon laminate. Helps when you are indecisive.
REDSOXWSCHAMP Posted April 11, 2014 Author Posted April 11, 2014 OF COURSE I GOT THE OLD STAND-BYS GREEN PUMPKIN, PB&J

dtrs5kprs Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Tomorrow may be shaping up for a tough day for the little rig. Just hope the weather over in OK mellows out a bit. On the other hand the water looks good for it, just a bit of color.
