Favorite Zara Spook Colors?

Everything I've ever read about Charlie Campbell says he likes to throw gold trebles on dark colored spooks like bullfrog and black shore minnow. Can you even buy a high quality gold treble hook?

Some of his favorites that were listed were: Bullfrog, Black shore minnow, Flitter shad, Nickel plated, Blue shore minnow, and Silver shore minnow.

I honestly don't think it matters much at all in top water colors. They only see something thrashing around on the surface and attack it. That being said I like to use any variant of the most natural looking shad or white colors.
